Jeannie Billard was born and raised in beautiful Port au Choix to a large, caring family of seventeen children. At the age of nineteen, Jeannie, studied hair styling and branched off shortly after that to start her own business.

In 1996, she opened a bed & breakfast which complimented her existing business. The bed & breakfast began small with three bedrooms and within four years of operation, the growth of the business allowed Jeannie to expand. She now offers a modern and spacious home with five beautiful bedrooms.

She attributes much of her customer service and business savvy to the influence of her parents. She grew up working under her parents' guidance when they owned and operated J.E. Billard General Store which is a "stone's throw" from her bed & breakfast location.
