Comments: We may have found the best accomodations in Port au Choix!! Jeannie and her house were outstanding. She was friendly and welcoming all during our three night stay. Our room was very clean, well appointed and comfortable. We stayed in room #3 which has a huge closet which we really appreciated since it allowed us to spreadout our hiking gear wihtout cluttering the bedroom. Breakfast is simple but hardy and delicious. Guests have a choice of picking one of four options, all served with home baked breads and home made jams! My husband picked the homemade oatmeal (slow cooked from the night before) every single day and claims it is the best oatmeal he has had! The location is also great with views of the ocean and a short walk to attractions (French rooms) and excellent restaurant (Anchor Cafe). It is also a short car ride to the Riche Point Lighthouse (where we saw caribou herd), Phillip's Garden, Port au Choix National Historic Site, and Barbace Cove (where we saw 2 moose)!
